Selected Highlights
. Defined and managed all software engineering processes, methods, and
tools for the software engineering organization of a global medical
device company. Results of these efforts revealed rapid improvement in
all quality and reliability parameters of the medical device software
used to operate the company's surgical equipment. It also resulted in
reduced engineering activities and timelines, as well as lower service
costs.
. Coordinated with engineering and R&D organizations to create/deploy a
single, global integrated development environment that ensured the
creation of high quality, high availability, hazard free medical device
software at Bausch & Lomb. Efforts led toward lowered costs, increased
productivity, and improvements in validation and verification coverage.
. Improved the efficiency and effectiveness of the software testing being
performed on all office imaging products under development at Eastman
Kodak by facilitating an elaborate process improvement project. This
project was accomplished through the construction and implementation of
defined measurable software test processes, a controlled software test
environment, and the rollout of a suite of automated software testing
tools.
. Created and deployed a common software engineering process and tool suite
used in the creation of digital printing products, which improved go-to-
market times, reduced costs, and enhanced product quality at Advanced Hi-
Tech.
