I am a sincere, loyal, and dedicated individual who has a great deal of ambition. Although I have
extensive experience in the floor covering installation business, I love to learn, and am always up
to a challenge. I work well with others as well as working efficiently on my own. I am seeking a

Experience
10/97-10/09* Stanley Floor Covering East Peoria, IL
Sub-contracting Floor Installer. I measured, bid, scheduled, and conducted
residential/commercial floor installation trade practices. I specialized in various types of carpet,
vinyl, tile, laminate, and hardwood installations. I own all the necessary tools, supplies, and a full
size Ford cargo van. Additionally, I also did repairs, tear-out, and preparation for all installations.
2/95 -5/97* Iron-A-Way, Inc. Morton, IL
Head of Woodshop preparation and production. Duties included cutting, building, and assembly
of cabinets from raw materials, monthly inventory count, loading/unloading materials, products,
and supplies from trucks with the use of a fork lift. Additional duties included the use of various
machines and power tools: table, dado, jig, whirlwind, cross-cut bench, and band saws. Plus the
use of a drill press, router, belt and conveyor sanders, and an edge bander. Daily use of air
powered tools; sanders, nail/staple guns, electric drills, and circular saws. I performed the task of
producing the retail display units. At the end of each work week, I contributed to shop clean up.
8/93 - 1/95* Danka Industries, Inc. Morton, IL
Warehouse Manager. Responsibilities included scheduling all rentals, leased and customer
purchased machines for delivery/pick up, physical monthly inventory control/check, UPS/USPS
shipping and receiving, and purchasing supplies, machines, and accessories.
5/91- 8/93* Metro Copy, Inc. Peoria, IL
Inventory Control Assistant. I placed purchase orders for parts and supplies, stocking/retrieving
inventory for service technicians and sales representatives, shipping/receiving duties.
Additionally, I performed data entry for incoming and outgoing machines, parts, and supplies
into the system database, maintain scrap yard, discard old stripped units, taking supply orders
from call-in customers, assist machine demos/pick-ups, packaging/shipping/receiving via
UPS/USPS/FED EX, and maintaining building/lawn duties, including: painting, janitorial,
deliveries, and copying of legal documents for various clients.

Interests
I enjoy activities with my children as often as possible, riding my motorcycle, ATV, visiting with
family, and keeping up with new technology. As for skills, I work well with power tools, hand
tools, and try to fix issues, myself, as often as possible. I know my way around a personal
computer and try to learn from my mistakes.
