Key Accomplishments
. Implemented innovative new technology using in-situ thermal treatment at
a shopping center site that had a release from a former dry cleaner.
Technology reduced remediation time from a typical 5 to 10 years using
traditional pump and treat systems to 2 1/2 years. Cost of system was
comparable to pump and treat.
. Developed, implemented and managed the due diligence program and
environmental asset management program for a distressed asset
acquisitions and asset management business with a portfolio of over 2500
properties in the US and Canada.
. Facilitated sale of 1000 unit apartment complex located in the Oakland,
California area that was constructed on a former petroleum bulk storage
facility. Buyer was uncomfortable with residual environmental risks.
Presented technical and business mitigants to those risks. Buyer was
satisfied and closed for $121MM.
. Developed and delivered WebEx-based webinars focusing on hazard
identification emerging issues to internal asset managers, and third
party property managers. As a result, incidents and practices that could
result in property impairment were identified and corrected.
