(Motorola's impedance matching program), LINMIC.
Industrial Training:
Bharat Electronics Ltd. (Duration: 2 months)
. Hands on training on various microwave equipment like spectrum analyzer,
vector network analyzer, scalar analyzer and noise figure meter.
Fabrication tools like dicer machine, laser cutting machine and line

. Theoretical Design of directional coupler (one of the passive Component

Himachal Futuristic Communications limited: (Duration 6 month)
. Designed and fabricated a 2-Stage low noise amplifier at the extended Ku
band (frequency - 17.7GHz to 19.7GHz) for use in SDH radio.
. Software used for simulation was Eesof's Touchstone and Eagleware's
Genesis.
. Work involved selection of active device, designing of the matching
network, designing of the bias supply, simulation, drawing of the layout,
fabrication of the component, drawing the layout of the housing box and
finally the measurement.
Other projects: (as part of course curriculum)
. Simulation of many passive microwave components viz. power divider (both
two way equal and unequal and four way), filter designs (low pass and
high pass filters, bandpass and bandstop, harmonic filter), rat race,
hybrid.
. Completed a theoretical project, for designing the four way unequal power
divider in the C band (freq-3Ghz) using the Microstrip transmission line.
The software was written in C-language for derivation of impedance of
line. Simulation was done using JADMIC and Eesof's Touchstone software's.
