motivated, enthusiastic, outgoing and friendly person, where I feel that I
would thoroughly enjoy this position.
Attached is a copy of my Resume. You will find that I recently completed my
third year at RMIT, studying a Bachelor of Applied Science: Product
Development and Merchandising. This allowed me to express my passion within
the fashion and marketing industry in the competent use of fabrics,
materials, marketing and analysis skills, product development, buying,
merchandising and computer skills such as illustrator, photo shop and
excel.
I have previously volunteered at Loreal Melbourne Fashion Week in March
2009. This gave me an understating of how the fashion industry works and
further, the amount of pressure involved. I feel I work best under pressure
and I understand that this role may have strict deadlines and copious
amounts of work involved, which I feel I can undertake. I'm always up for a
challenge and will never turn down a job.
I currently work within the retail shop floor at Kmart and Sportsgirl. Each
store has allowed me to understand the specific needs and wants of the
current Australian consumer and how they would like a retail store to
interact with them. As I am within the Generation Y cohort group I feel I
would bring Sportsgirl positive insight to current customer traits and
needs.
I work well in both a team and individually and am a people person whereby
I believe this job would be a great opportunity for me. My ultimate
objective is to be able to build up my skills within the fashion industry
and pursue a successful career in whichever path life takes me. I feel you
