The following summarizes my 20+ years of work experience and
responsibilities:
I have traveled to Europe many times to support and generate sales as part
of my overall responsibilities. My training includes Professional Selling
Skills I & II; I am well versed in P&L, Domestic and International Customer
Service, Domestic LTL and FTL trucking and pricing. I have generated
substantial revenue in freight forwarding while providing significant cost
savings to my clients. From the shipper side, I help reduce overall yearly
transportation cost which helps make the company more profitable as well.
I work closely with Global partners or agent affiliates to provide the best
in service and class for my customer. I am heavily involved in daily
negotiations with airlines and ocean carriers regarding rates, transit
times, and service to meet the demands of my customer/client. I coordinate
all Import/Export shipments including foreign to foreign shipments as well
from initial pick up to customs clearance and delivery at destination. I
maintain very close relationships with Customs Brokers providing them with
P.O.A (Power Of Attorney) documents to ensure timely Customs Clearance on
import cargo.
Establishing and maintaining all Import/Export guidelines, policies and
procedures including HTS Classification, Customs AES Filing export
licensing, country and origin general and specific documentation
requirements, Export Declarations, C-TPAT, (ISO) 10+ 2 Requirements and
other tasks related to International Trade. I work closely with U.S.
Customs brokers, Freight Forwarders, Airlines, and Steamship Lines to
