Selected Accomplishments

Achieved #8 sales ranking of 250 field offices. Embarked on initiative to

build sales for State Farm field office and its 25 agent offices.

Conducted training sessions on products and presentations, with specific

emphasis on sales of mutual funds. Improved morale, quadrupled production,

and gained top ten ranking.

Ensured success with new product offering. Served key role in training,

launch, rollout and sales of State Farm's new private label 401K product.

Conducted meeting with Field Sales Associates explaining features and

benefits, and then trained their agents. Won trip for performance and

agents became skilled in selling the product.

Built sales in niche category. Joined Meridian, MS field office and

embarked on initiative to increase production in bank loans. Conducted

training sessions covering approaches and closing techniques. Over next

five weeks, more than tripled normal bank loan production, and won vacation

trip for field office and several agent offices.

Lifted production with direct mail. State Farm agents had not been using

direct mail in Meridian territory and corporate research indicated it could

be of significant benefit. Trained agents on how direct mail could be best

implemented and how to offset costs with corporate incentives. Over 90% of

agents began using the strategy.

Generated significant sales for startup. Launched a final expense tele-

sales business in 2010. Worked with marketing organization in developing

scripts, database and lead generation. Within three months, generated five

sales per week versus industry average of three. Jumped sales to nearly

ten per week, two months later.

Sales Manager, The Final Expense Department, 2010 to Present. Focus on the

sales of final expense life insurance and the retirement needs of senior

citizens. Built office from start up, gaining experience with new product

line and building significant client database. Achieved superior closing

rates.

Senior Agency Field Specialist / Additional Intern, State Farm Insurance,

2006 to 2010. Promoted to turn around underperforming territory

encompassing three states, and 25 agents and their teams (75 members).

Implemented new strategies that led to #8 sales ranking. Also served as

interim agent in unrepresented territories.

Advanced Planning Consultant, State Farm Insurance, 2004 to 2006.

Recruited for newly-created position based in high volume call center to

respond to inquiries from field sales personnel and to conduct training

sessions. Supported 12 southern zone field sales associates and the Zone

Manager. Advised on complex cases.

Financial Sales Product Associate, State Farm Insurance, 2002 to 2004.

Drove financial services production during major operational transition.
