Classified as USDA- TSTAR-C. I hold the position of Research

Associate for the Department of Animal Industry at University of

Puerto Rico, Mayag ez Campus. I assist in the collection of samples

on dairy heifers at different dairy farms through the island for

further diagnosis on animals infected with parasites or mutations

after sequencing their DNA.

Work Experience

. SUMMER 2009, VAQUER A CARLOS RODR GUEZ

I worked in this Dairy Farm at Morovis, P.R. as a Student Intern. I

assisted the owner, supervisor, and workers engaging milking,

breeding and caring for cows. Analyzed feed and milk production

records to determine ways to improve production at its maximum.

. Summer 2009, National DHIA, Puerto Rico

I worked at National Dairy Herd Information Association at Dorado,

P.R. as a Student Volunteer. I was assigned as the Laboratory

Assistant for testing and determining the quality of milk samples

from each dairy cattle.

. Summer 2008, Cl nica Veterinaria Dr. J. D az Umpierre

I worked in a Veterinary Clinic in Bayam n, P.R. as Student

Volunteer. Assisted the DMV and Veterinary Technician in diagnosis,

medical and surgical procedures. Obtained and recorded patient case

history. Provided nursing and care for animals.

beaches, ect.
