involved with sheet metal fabrication, detailed machining, outsourcing
oversight, as well as the management of government-regulated products.

MTW is a leader in the design and manufacturing of equipment for the food
service industry.
MerryChef ($45 million annual), is a separate Operating Company for MTW and
manufactures high speed, rapid cook, microwave ovens for use in a variety
of QSR and high-end hotels.

Responsibilities:
. Managed day-to-day activities of Engineering, Technical Support,
Customer Service, Accounting, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and
Shipping/Receiving.
. Ensured adequate levels of inventory to meet the needs of key
customers.
. Worked with key customers to resolve their issues within the confines
of the organization.
. Managed various levels of individuals: Senior Project Engineers,
Designers, Technicians, assembly-line workers, etc.
Accomplishments:
. Improved hinge design on rapid-cook oven through thorough testing and
rapid implementation of solution. Increased cyclical life from 125k to
500k.
. Worked directly with company's highest visibility customers to resolve
all issues on rapid cook ovens (e.g., product quality, supply chain,
and technical service). This resulted in customers increasing annual
orders from 1 to 2 units to 50 to 60.
. Achieved UL Approval on rapid cook, microwave oven for use in ventless
operation
. Ensured products developed met agency (UL, NSF, CE, FDA, FCC, CSA,
etc.) requirements while satisfying the needs of the customer.
Jackson ($65 million annual), is a separate Operating Company for MTW and
manufactures ware-washing equipment for all aspects of the food service
industry.

Responsibilities:
. Managed day-to-day activities of Engineering Team. This includes
Senior Engineer, Designers, and Technicians.
. Ensured new products developed followed the Product Development
Process (PDP). PDP requires input/buy-off from cross-functional team;
sales, marketing, manufacturing, purchasing, technical support.
. Responsible for all aspects of Quality department. Insured standards
were implemented and executed throughout organization.
. Ensured products developed met agency (UL, NSF, CE, FDA, FCC, CSA,
etc.) requirements while satisfying the needs of the customer.
. Managed Continuing Engineering team to ensure existing products
satisfied the needs of customers, ease of manufacturing, as well as
resolving warranty issues.
Accomplishments:
. Led a cross functional team to introduce new ware washing equipment to
the market to replace existing product which suffered from multiple
operational issues.
. Invited, attended, and concluded meetings with EPA, like
manufacturers, and energy experts to develop Energy Star standards of
Ware Washing Equipment that are currently used today.
. Worked directly with company's highest visibility customers to resolve
all issues on rapid cook ovens (e.g., product quality, supply chain,
and technical service). This resulted in customers increasing annual
orders from 1 to 2 units to 50 to 60.
. Reduced failures in product from 75% to less that 2% through a
rigorous analysis production design changes. This resulted in customer
increasing orders by 23%.
. Led Continuing Engineering team to reduce product cost as well as ease
of assembly through design modifications and outsourcing.

Responsibilities:
. Led equipment engineering team to support the customer base of Pizza
Hut International, R&D, PSC, and Domestic and International Operations
(Franchise, Equity, License and JV) with simple and reliable ops
equipment and processes.
. Worked within the Domestic R&D and International PSC teams to support
new product development, test markets and national introductions.
Conducted supplier audits.
Accomplishments:
. Worked with a new vendor to implement a second source of fryers for
the Wing Street brand. Improved oil life by 15% and reduced fryer cost
by 17%.
. Achieved approval on "Tandem" conveyor oven improving through-put by
22%.
. Brought together vendors, franchise and corporate store operators to
improve supply of critical spare parts, thus reducing down-time of key
pieces of equipment within the restaurant.

SXI has 12 operating units, organized into five reporting segments: Food
Service Equipment Group, Air Distribution Products Group, Engraving Group,
Electronics and Hydraulics Group and Engineering Technologies Group.
APWWyott ($125 million annual), is a separate Operating Company for SXI and
manufactures a variety of appliances (hot and cold) for the food service
industry.

Responsibilities:
. Responsible for New Products at all manufacturing locations.
. Managed day-to-day operations of engineering department at Dallas
facility.
. Responsible for the design, development, testing and the
implementation to manufacturing of equipment for the food service
industry.
. Worked directly with domestic and international clients to develop
highly specialized products.
. Ensured projects met design specifications and maintain direction and
timelines as set forth by customers and/or the organization while
maintaining agency requirements (UL, NSF, CE, CSA, FDA, EPA etc.).
. Designed products for distribution throughout globe for high-volume

. Successfully brought 14 completely new products to market.
. Worked with Whataburger to resolve issues with toaster. This work led
to an order for new toasters in all locations.

first convection oven selling 250 units with in first year.

Responsibilities:
. Managed development and presentation of new countertop, rapid-cook
oven.
. Served as key customer liaison during the development and testing of
new products.
. Assisted customers in development and implementation of ovens with
rapid-cook technologies.
Accomplishments:
. Instrumental in the design of Next Generation Oven for roll-out within
all Subway restaurants.
. Assisted Electrolux with product evaluation at European facility.
. Designed, developed, tested, presented and implemented a natural gas
version of rapid-cook oven for key clients.
