RATES

Interpretation

Consecutive interpretation: SGD$70 per hour

A minimal charge of SGD$120 per engagement applies.

Extensive events which provide transport for the interpreter are eligible

for exclusive project rates.

Translation

JPN ? ENG: SGD$0.15 per word

ENG ? JPN : SGD$0.125 per word

Word count is calculated from source text (number of words) for editable

source documents, and from translated work if source document provided is

non-editable (e.g. scanned copy, hard copy, locked pdf, etc.). Fixed

project rates available for large projects.

Tuition

Home tuition at student's location: S$300 per 4 x 1.5 hr lessons a

month

Home tuition at teacher's location: S$270 per 4 x 1.5 hr lessons a

month

Online tuition: S$240 per 4 x 1.5 hr lessons a month

School tuition: S$40 per hr, min. of 6 mths' contract

Overtime charges

A grace period of 15 minutes is given in the name of goodwill.

Normal charges apply thereafter, rounded off to every 30min block.

EXPECTED SALARY

SGD$3,800 onwards per month.

NOTICE PERIOD REQUIRED
