Started as a volunteer with 50-210 EMS as a non-certified member. I rapidly
progressed to a paid employee, while obtaining my paramedic certification.
My duties included supervising a staff of 8 full-time employees and 20 part-
time employees. I scheduled shifts for all employees. I handled billing,
monthly reports and various office duties. Also I ran EMS calls as the
Paramedic in charge of patient care, life making decisions and making sure
the ambulance was fully stocked and maintained, while over seeing other
employees.

Census Enumerator / Crew Leader, Jan 1998 to Apr 2000
Worked on the Cary NC special census in 1998 interviewing residents and
obtaining information. I then moved to the Raleigh NC office and became a
crew leader over approximately 10 other employees. During this term I was
able to assist in office work and perform quality assurance checks on
information obtained for Census 2000.

Gate Agent / Baggage Mishandling Agent, Nov 1990 to Jan 1995
Checked passengers in prior to departure of flights and rebooked others as
needed. Also worked in the ramp tower making decisions on flight delays or
on-time departures. Researched mishandled baggage within the company.
