PROJECT # 1: PROJECT GLOCARDS RBS MIGRATION

(May 2010 till December 2010)

ANZ currently has multiple cards platforms across Australia, NZ and Asia

Pacific, operating at various levels of maturity. ANZ Consumer Finance

Australia has investigated a project ('One Cards Platform for ANZ') to

consolidate all cards platforms across the regions onto one platform namely

Vision Plus.

GloCards RBS Migration stream is established as part of the GloCards group

programme.RBS Migration stream is aimed to move existing V+, Triad and

Falcon systems across from HP.

Client: ANZ Bank

Software/Architecture: IBM Mainframes (COBOL, JCL, VSAM, V+).

Project # 2: Project Online Card Payment Security (OCPS)

(February 2010 till April 2010)

The project OCPS relates with the ANZ National's term for the 3-D Secure

protocol, which is an XML-based protocol used as an added layer of security

for online credit and debit card transactions .The protocol was developed

by Visa to improve the security of Internet payments and offered to

customers as the Verified by Visa service .OCPS allows authentication of

the payment cardholder by their card issuer when making purchases online

from a merchant's website.

Penguin is an initiative to launch a dual card in V8.23g. Currently

all the card products of GE Australia are housed in V2.56. As this is

a old Version of Vision Plus and paysys has withdrawn its support for

V2.56, GE australia has decided to launch all its new products in

V8.23g. As V8.23g is to be setup from scratch, this was a challenging

project by nature.

Project # 6: GE Money Tactical Projects (Sep 2006 till August 2007)

This Project mainly deals with multiple projects, which are less than 50

man days. Each individual will be solely responsible for his work request

through out the life cycle of the work request. The total life cycle of

software will be followed here viz... Receiving the functional spec from

the client, analysing the request/Problem, preparing the Technical Spec,

Coding, UTP, UTR, UAT Verification, Implementation Plan to implement in

Production and Production Support. The requests can be of any module and of

any function. The project has an onsite coordinator who will be a link

between the team at offshore and the client. The individual will give

estimates for the request before hand to the client and work will be

planned in such a way to deliver it in time to the business.

Network International (NI) processes Emirates Bank International (EBI)

credit cards. NI has a requirement to enhance the current system of Vision

Plus to process instalment credit cards for two Banks EBI and FGB (FIRST

GULF BANK).

Network International also (NI) processes Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB)

credit cards. NI wants to convert entire ADCB credit cards portfolio from

their existing system to Vision PLUS application. With this they want some

new functionality to be added with the existing application.

Project # 8: Isys Customization (June 2005 to December 2005)

The Credit Card business of the Discover Financial Services is currently

processed by EXPERIAN. The current system Vision Plus 2.5 with Experian's

customizations is called GEMS (Global Experian Management System). After

being acquired by Morgan Stanley, Discover decided to migrate its credit

card processing to Vision Plus 8.18. This current project, involves the

analysis, design, conversion and final migration and implementation of GEMS

Credit Card Processing Application to V+ 8.18 along with all subsystems

(except MBS) and Interfaces.

Client: Discover Financial Services,

Project # 9: CSS (Customer Services System), (June 2004 to Apr 2005)

BT's Customer Services System (CSS) is the company's largest computing

system based on Mainframes. CSS manages all aspects of Customer service on

the Public Switched Telephony Network (PSTN) from order capture through

issue and fault handling to work Management and billing. The Verification

Validation Testing (VVT) group works on comprehensively System Testing and

verification of the latest developed code.

Client: British Telecommunications, UK.

Software/Architecture: IBM Mainframes (COBOL, JCL, IDMS).

Team Size: 13 (Offshore- 12, Onsite - 1)

Responsibilities:

Understanding functional/technical requirements by investigating the

requirement specifications document. Preparation of System Test Plan,

Schedule and their tracking, Preparation of Project Management Reports in

Billing System of CSS.
