Selected Accomplishments

-Developed and implemented a four (4) step Labor Relations strategies for

five (5) operating companies of Delaware North Companies.

-Established a corporate LR Strategic council where current LR initiatives

and LR policies and procedures are reviewed quarterly with senior

leadership.

-Established a strategic Labor/Management partnership with large

international union on future growth opportunities ensure efficiencies in

operations and minimize issues.

-Introduced and implemented interest based problem solving at both union

and non union locations.

-Designed and implemented positive corrective action policies for all

operating companies. Mandatory annual training is required.

-Designed and implemented a LR policy manual for union operating units.

-Negotiated new national labor agreement with significant savings in health

care for current work force ($1.6 million in year one and over $3 million

over the life of the agreement) and reduced the cost of health care for new

employees by 52%. Reduced paid time off by 20%. Ensure that any new

operating units would no longer fall under this master national agreement.

-Negotiated or strategically directed the negotiations of in excess of 200

economically and competitive labor agreements nationwide and in Canada for

Delaware North companies.

-Successfully defeated several organizing campaigns i.e. Teamsters, IBEW,

UFCW, UNITEHERE, and United Steelworkers.

-As part of Union avoidance initiative, implemented the "employment deal"

best practice programs for Delaware North employees at both union and non

union facilities.
