RESEARCH PROJECTS:
Modifications of aquaculture vaccine for effective oral administration in
fish
In this study, a technology is sought to protect DNA vaccine for oral
administration. The main objective of the study is to determine whether DNA
vaccine for mycobacteriosis can be effectively compounded into orally
administrable formulations with chitosan and polylactide -co- glycolide
nanoparticles. A recombinant strain expressing Mycobacterium marinum BCG
Ag85a has been used as plasmid DNA for this experiment.
