Responsible for location, set up, and initial start up of metal fabrication plant.
This included procurement of real property and euipment, permitting and
licenses, installation and set-up of euipment. Subsequent responsibilities
included staffing, scheduling, and management of all operations as well as
administrative function. Overseen training and education programs for fifty
employees.
CWM-Demopolis Manufacturing Facility, Demopolis, Alabama
Operations Manager 1990 to 1992
Responsible for all maufacturing operations for his company, which
manufactured waste-handling euipment for other divisions of Waste
Management, Inc. This euipment includes roll-off containers of various design,
receivers and certified ISO shipping containers. Supervised a staff of fifty-five,
which included production, maintenance and shipping personnel.
With the company from its inception, was involved in the procurement and was
responsible for the installation of all euipment. This included shears, press
brakes, cranes, welding euipment, conveyor and coating systems.
September of 1991-received recognition and was nominated for the President's
Award. The president of Waste Management, in appreciation, gives this award
for high-level technical accomplishment.
Leach Manufacturing Company, Inc., Gadsden, Alabama
Assistant Plant Superintendent 1985-1990
Supervised all departments, coordinated work schedules between shifts,
developed specifications for welding, maintained employee relations of three
shifts for total of fifty employees that included supervisors, maintenance
personnel, welders, machine-operators and painters.
Manufactured steel tanks, silos, structural steel, mill bins, environmental
euipment and refuse containers.
Supervisor 1980 to 1985
Supervised, assisted, and trained employees in weld, machine, and paint
departments.

Working leader weld and fabrication department. Performed layout, fabrication,
fitting, and welding duties. Helped train and provided leaderhip for newer
employees.
