ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Between the end of my High School level (July 2001), and the start of my
University level (January 2004), I obtained training and experience while
working in a few areas, including; as a Data-Entry Clerk for RJ's Pharmacy
in Grenada (where I managed the inventory through a point-of-sale software,
Counter-Point), as a Zonal Supervisor trainee at the Grenada Solid Waste
Management Unit in Grenada and as a Financial trainee at Her Majesty's
Prison in Grenada.
In the Fall semester of 2007, August to December, I served my school as
President of a Cultural Organization, (Caribbean Students' Association-
CaSA) where I gained experience as a team leader and planned and organized
club events, while complying with all rules that governed such clubs. In
this term I also proposed the formation of a new academic organization
(M.I.S.I.T. Association) for MIS and IT students of St. Georges University;
which was approved by the Dean of Students.
I also served as President of the above mentioned academic organization
(Management Information Systems and Information Technology- MISIT), in the
Spring semester of 2008. My greatest experience here was organizing a
televised launch ceremony to introduce this new club to the SGU and Grenada
community.
Overall I have a great command of the English language and exercised the
ability to delegate responsibilities successfully. I am a great listener,
a dependable associate and a trust worthy employee. Over my university
terms I have become familiar with Computer Ethics, Web design, the Design
and Implementation of information systems, Information Systems Analysis,
Strategic Management, Database Systems, Business Finance, E-Commerce and
more.
Communication is my strong point because I am always networking across
cultures through all mediums (including, face-to-face, facebook, twitter,
organizations, travels etc) and I can now acclimatize to any culture. My
time at school has also afforded me the skills of management, leadership
and coordination through the international business simulation GLOBUS (a
simulation of running a camera manufacturing company, that over 1200
universities compete and partake in) which my group positioned in the top
fifty (50).
Currently I am seeking the opportunity to humbly turn my new skills and
ideas into reality, while aiding a company's success in the present
competitive market. I believe that I have gained sufficient training and
experience to represent my prospective workplace to the highest standard in
any professional arena.
