To Whom It May Concern,
The communications world is continually changing. Technology, the Internet
and social media sites have changed the way the public receives
information. Communicating effectively with the public has become one of
the most critical and visible functions of a successful organization. A
qualified communications candidate must be a strategist, writer, public
speaker, experienced manager, and more.
This is the expertise that I can bring to the Marketing Communications
Manager position for Panduit. With over two decades of professional
experience working as a spokesperson, writer, designer, and manager, I have
demonstrated my abilities in the communications field.
The breadth of my experience includes managing external and internal
communication
strategies and encompasses all areas including writing, editing, brand
management,
crisis communications, media relations, and public speaking.
Working in government has afforded me the opportunity to know who the key
political
players are and how local government operates. I have helped lobby to pass
assessment related initiatives at both the county and state level. In
addition, I have
written budget and productivity reports and annual budget presentations in
order to help
pass the Assessor's $25 million dollar budget.
I would welcome an opportunity to discuss my background and qualifications
with you.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Maura J. Kownacki
