PLANT MANAGER (December 2004-2009)

. Responsible for plant operations of 160 people, $56
million in revenue. Operations consist of 10 extrusion
lines with a combination of inline, mono and co-ex
sheeting, plant total of 7 printing presses, in-house
ink and plate making and converting. Converting consist
of side-weld bag, stand up pouch, laminating and
slitting.
. Plant turn around situation when I took over in 2004-
plant was loosing money and in jeopardy of being shut
down. 2005 resulted in a positive $3mm turnaround and
249% of budget. 2006 followed with 118% of budgeted
expectations.
. Plant Safety record was poor. In 2007, Griffin scored
highest rating in company history for a plastic's plant
in Corporate Safety Audit. 2008 has 0.00 LTIR and 1.81
TIR YTD.
. Implementing (ongoing) cost savings and plant
adjustments to maintain cost in downward trend of
today's economy.
PLANT MANAGER (August 1998 to October 2004)
Exopack, LLC, Thomasville, NC
. Responsible for the safe operations of the Thomasville
facility. This plant employs 180 people in its
extrusion, printing and converting operations producing
Industrial Ildpe flexible packaging.
. Industrial plant with a mature market. Initiatives were
focused on Safety, Quality and Manufacturing
improvements.
