. I am currently responsible for the supply chain management, Logistics,

Planning and production programs of Aluminium rolled products in the

following equipments liaison with plant maintenance and process

control departments for ensuring parameter control for exacting

quality standards.

(Manufacturer-KNOEVENAGEL, Germany).

> 4-Hi 1800mm Reversible Hot Rolling Mill

(Manufacturer-NKMZ, Russia).

> 4-Hi 1800mm Reversible Cold Rolling Mill

(Manufacturer-NKMZ, Russia).

> 4-Hi 1800mm Non Reversible Cold Rolling Mill

(Manufacturer-FATA HUNTER, Italy).

> Slitting Lines (Manufacturers-NKMZ, Russia and

Blue Star, India).

increasing the machine availability and utilizations.

. Responsible for proper implementation of Six Sigma methodologies &

tools for improving the recovery of Hot rolled coils, Hot rolled

plates and Cold rolled coils.

. Responsible for proper implementation of FMEA methodologies & tools

for increasing the availability and utilizations of equipments.

. Responsible for proper planning of Material Flow in equipments,

Inventory control in Shop floor.

. Responsible for proper planning of Manpower in shifts, Shift

Coordination.

ACHIEVEMENTS

. Implemented Six Sigma methodologies & tools for improving the recovery

of Cold rolled Coils from 71% to 73 %.

. Implemented Six Sigma methodologies & tools for reducing the handling

time of coils in 4-Hi Non Reversible Cold Rolling mill (FATA HUNTER)

by 25% (From 240 sec to 180sec). The same project case was presented

in Annual Six Sigma case study meet held in Bangalore, India,

organized by Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) and Quality Council of

India (QCI).

. Implemented of FMEA methodologies & tools for increasing the

availability and utilisation of equipments.

. Successfully rolled AA2219 & AA2014 alloy of Aluminium in 4-Hi 1800mm

Non Reversible Cold Rolling mill (FATA HUNTER) up to 3mm & 1 mm coils

for the first time in INDIA as well as in BALCO for Vikram Sarabhai

Space Center (VSSC).

. Successfully rolled AA2014 alloy slabs of Aluminium in 10mm coils 4-Hi

1800mm Reversible Hot Rolling mill (NKMZ) for Vikram Sarabhai Space

Center (VSSC).

. Successfully rolled AA5083 & AA5754 alloy of Aluminium in 4-Hi 1800mm

Reversible Hot Rolling mill (NKMZ) and 4-Hi 1800mm Non Reversible Cold

Rolling mill (FATA HUNTER).

. Successfully Installed Indigenously built Parallel Type Heat Exchanger

in 4-Hi 1800mm Non Reversible Cold rolling mill (FATA HUNTER) for

better cooling of coolant oil by replacing coolant heater.
