EXPERIENCE (+ 5 years)

Product Industrialization of Truck Bus Radial (TBR) Compounds.

Coordinated with R & D centre and successfully industrialized more than 20

new Compounds.

Commissioning of Mixers and establishing TBR Compounds in new mixers.

Good experience in establishing mixing of TBR compounds in tangential(2

wing,4 wing) and intermeshing mixers. Experienced in mixing of compounds in

Pomini, Farrel, HF and Dalian mixers. Established mixing sequence for TBR

compounds in latest ZZ2 rotor design tangential HF final batch mixer with

excellent sulfur dispersion.

Research and Development of new TBR Compounds for improved product

performance.

Developed new tread cap compound with compounding team for tube type and

tubeless tyres of high speed regional,mining(good cut and chip resistance)

and urban TBR applications. Developed new Tread base compound with high

silica. This new compound has low heat build up and low rolling resistance.

Establishing new vendor for raw materials of TBR Compounds.

Conducted trials for various raw materials to develop new vendors

Handling lab Activities

Good experience in handling all the testing activities in Mill Room Control

laboratory and Truck Radial compound Physical laboratory. Well versed with

testing of rubber compounds in Rheometer, viscometer, UTM, hardness tester

and rebound resilience.

Regular process checks and trouble shooting in TBR compounding.

Periodic monitoring and trouble shooting of mixing process .Using process

control parameters such as cp, cpk to keep the compound parameters under

control. Underwent training in TS16949 quality management system and

identified as a qualified auditor for plant audit and vendor audit.

TRAINING

Underwent training at Continental tyre plants in Germany, Austria and Czech

Republic for compounding and mixing. Specially trained in silica mixing in

intermix and tangential mixers in Otrokovice (Czech Republic).Attended

technical discussions along with Continental compounding team.

Educational qualifications:

Bachelor Of Engineering (B.E) in Polymer Science and Technology.

Master's in Polymer Science and Technology (MTech).

Both the degrees obtained from SJCE college of Engineering, Mysore, India.
