Accomplishments
DOI Major Investigation award following three major investigations
involving the fraudulent issuance of public assistance funds valued at over
one-quarter of one million dollars.
Assisted in the investigation of three City computer clerks who
fraudulently distributed over two million dollars in public assistance
benefits to sixty-two recipients who were not entitled to the funds.
Provided assistance in the investigation and subsequent arrest of ninety
individuals, including several former and present City employees, for the
theft of over one million dollars of public assistance funds.
In 2009 awarded outstanding performance on a major investigation involving
the embezzlement of government funds by managers and supervisors from the
NYC Administration for Children's Services who conspired with officers of
for-profit and not-for profit vendors doing business with the City.
