PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
**** - *******: Senior System Engineer, Raytheon VTC, Orlando, FL.
Develop integration plans for Logistics systems for the Joint Land
Component Constructive Training Capability, linking Warfighter's Simulation
(WARSIM) and Logistics Federation (LOGFED)
Develop test plans and test cases for the SH60B Fleet Air Simulation
Training Program.
1992 - Present: Independent Simulation Consultant, Merritt Island, FL.
Consulted with commercial wargame publishers with project management,
marketing, scenario design, and internal and external testing for a variety
of simulations including Harpoon 2, Patriot, Steel Panthers, and Brigade
Combat Team, Armored Task Force, and TacOPS.
2005 - 2008: Operations Researcher/Principle Investigator, Civil Effects
Leaders Training Simulation, Northrop-Grumman, Orlando, FL. Conceived,
rapid prototyped, architected, conducted Knowledge Acquisition/Engineering
(KA/KE), prepared proposals, and managed development team to produce the
Civil Effects Leadership Training Simulation (CELTS), designed to train
commanders on non-kinetic factors of war during Stability and Support
Operations. Won $2 Million in contracts for development.
1998 -2007: Operations Researcher/Test Engineer, WARSIM, Northrop Grumman,
Orlando, FL Proven expertise in KA/KE, database and algorithm development,
software testing, system engineering and test, requirements analysis, and
scenario design for development of the US Army WARSIM
Develop rapid prototypes, use cases, test threads, provided performance
enhancement recommendations, modeled exercise size and scope, and test
plans demonstrating to customer that simulations meet their operational
requirements using Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications, and Excel.
Evaluated legacy software for application to WARSIM; coordinated with other
Federates (AWSIM, CSSTSS, LOGFED, RESA) for inter-simulation actions.
Analyzed historical personnel casualty rates, losses of fixed wing aircraft
due to air defense fires, accident loss rates, etc. to "tune" WARSIM damage
algorithms.
1996 - 1998: Database Manager, Northrop Grumman Hoover, AL Standardized
scenario development reducing exercise preparation time from 60 - 180 days
to 3 weeks. Responsible for coordinating simulation exercises for over 50
Army Reserve/National Guard units in the Southeast using the Corps Battle
Simulation, Brigade-Battalion Battle Simulation, JANUS, and SPECTRUM.

the development of Harpoon 2 Admiral's Edition, including production, play
testing, packaging, and advertising campaign.
1994 - 1995: Simulation Center Manager, Northrop Grumman FT Polk, LA.
Coordinated development of simulation exercises for 30 Active Army, Army
Reserve, and National Guard units in a four state area surrounding Fort
Polk.
1992 - 1994: Database Manager, Northrop Grumman, Hoover, AL. Developed
the Opposing Force Order of Battle for the first "Digital" Return of Forces
to Germany (REFORGER). Responsible for coordinating simulation exercises
for over 50 Army Reserve/National Guard units in the Southeast using the
Corps Battle Simulation, Brigade-Battalion Battle Simulation, JANUS, and
SPECTRUM
1976 - 1992, United States Army. Served in a variety of command and staff
positions in armor and cavalry units at from platoon to Division level,
culminating with service in Desert Storm, award of the Bronze Star,
Director of Logistics, and promotion to Lieutenant Colonel.
