Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

> Review of customer inputs for design and detail engineering

development.

> Work within budgeted Man hours. On Time Delivery of engineering

deliverable to internal / external customer.

> Preparation of work packages related to Design and Detail Engineering

and project deliverables under supervision of Lead Project Engineer as

per customer scope. Completion and closure of sites as per schedule.

> Pre-commissioning and commissiong activity as per the project plan

schedule. Support to PM / site team to get the retention / liquidation

of money.

> Develop appreciation of customer expectations and completely own the

quality of engineering deliverables being provided to customer. No

Negative impact (Feedback) in the eyes of the customer on Team's

execution.

> Comply to HSE policy and cardinal rules and support awareness

improvement among pears and associates. Near miss reporting for the

group. At the beginning of each workday inspect work areas for

potential HS&E hazards. Report and correct any problems immediately.

< System architecture and designing of automation systems (consisting of

Process Control and Safety Systems)

< Complete designing of automation system on Honeywell EPKS R301/310

systems, Honeywell Safety Manager R131.5.

< Development and Review of Control functional logics and Protection

Project]:

i) Presently commissioning the DHDT (Diesel Hydrotreating Unit), HGU

(Hydrogen Generation Unit) and SRU (Sulphur Recovery Unit) of IOCL,

Bongaigaon.

ii) Designing of complete system & network architecture consisting of DCS,

ESD, 8 nos. of C300 Controllers, 3 Redundant Safety Manager PLC, 2 nos. of

Redundant EPKS Servers, 16 nos. of Operator Stations and approx 7500 IOs.

ii) Installation of Marshalling & System Cabinets of DCS & ESD.

iii) Terminations inside the Cabinets, power-on of Cabinets & hot loop-

checking.

iv) Logic building and correction of logics in DCS & ESD according to

customer requirements.

v) Preparation of Graphics in HMI Web Builder according to P&ID.

2) QCS installation and commissioning done in Pulp and Paper plants of:

a) Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills (PM#5), Rajahmundry (2009) [Replacement of

ABB Scanner]

b) Ballapur Industries Ltd. (PM#6), Ballarshah (2009) [Replacement of ABB

Scanner]

i) Installation, alignment and calibration of Scanners.

ii) Preparation of Cable Schedule, Wiring drawings and completion of wiring

for Scanner & sensors.

iii) Installation, mechanical alignment and wiring for Calcoil.

iv) Commissioning of Sensors (Basis Weight, Moisture, Ash and Caliper)

v) Data correlation with Lab values.

vi) Machine Direction (MD) tuning.

vii) Training of Engineers and operators for operation and maintenance of

the system.

c) Servalakshmi Paper Private Ltd., Tirunelveli (2010)

i) Installation, alignment and calibration of Pope Reel Scanner and Size
