Turn around Management / Start-ups / Integrating New Technologies: Over the past 16 years I have been utilizing management

and technical expertise gained in larger corporations to turn around mid-sized service departments and develop a commercial

truck/fleet department with in a large service department. I have a track record of increasing sales, reducing costs, streamlining

and computerizing operations.

Selected Achievements & Skills_________________________________________________________

• Orchestrated turnaround of Dealership Service Departments. As Service Director of Porter Ford/Mitsubishi I took a dual

franchise service department, obtained through a buy/sell agreement, which had been run into the ground and in less than a year

built it up to number 1 in CSI and service sales in the entire state. I also served as Service Director for Ken Stillwell Ford,

Lincoln Mercury (2001-2008) increasing customer pay sales 40+% and reducing expenses by 60%. I increased customer pay,

warranty and internal sales, trained staff as needed, updated equipment and processes, cleaned up tens of thousands of

outstanding warranty, computerized the whole department and developed new marketing and advertising strategies to grow the

business while keeping CSI at or above regional average.

• Developed a Commercial Truck/Fleet Sales & Service Department from the ground up. Recruited as the Commercial Truck/Fleet

Administrator for Dean Sellers Ford, working in a somewhat new industry that offered unique challenges. I had the opportunity

to build a company, including, hiring and training personnel, purchasing equipment and working closely with the sales

department to build new commercial and fleet business. Over an 18 month period I grew the department 300% of the projected

goal.

• As Assistant Service Manager of Alan Ford (1990-1997), I developed marketing and advertising programs that increased sales by

60%, cleaned up a major warranty audit that could have cost the company hundreds of thousands of dollars, took the CSI rating

from 31st place to 1st place.

• Skills: Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly personable and capable of working with other top

managers and CEO's. Proficient in solving problems and implementing solutions under tight deadlines. Hands on executive,

capable of efficiently managing all aspects of the business. I have 15 years experience with ADP and am proficient with R&R

and UCS computer systems. I currently retain ASE master certifications along with FORD master certifications in the following

areas, Service Manager, Customer Relations Manager, Warranty Administrator, Service Advisor and Commercial Service

Manager/Advisor.
