development of design and production systems, risk assessments for supplier quality management and

technical processes, valuation of potential IP acquisition targets, and an array of Lean Six Sigma

initiatives.

Assume a lead role in contract negotiations, fiscal management, human resource management, and

professional networking with subject matter experts throughout the aviation, space, and defense industry

to innovate effective solutions.

Provide specialized training to clients spanning the topics of non-destructive evaluation, quality control,

Secured a broad array of certifications to qualify for support contracts relating to multiple aviation,

and maintenance of turbine propulsion systems manufactured by this multibillion dollar aircraft engine

company and a global network of 400 suppliers.

Maintained accountability for a Quality Assurance budget of $26M, with authority over a workforce of over

400 professionals engaged in quality, supplier control, and state-of-the-art laboratory services.

Directly managed multiple Lean Six Sigma initiatives as a master Black Belt (high-impact ACE projects),

as well as a company-wide SAP implementation.

Ensured strict compliance with AS9100 standards and customer/government requirements (14 CFR 21

and 33).

Key Achievements

Captured key gains in efficiency and productivity, streamlining quality processes from 14,000 procedures

to 1,200 procedures without compromising the effectiveness of quality assurance efforts.

Engaged in production support of the RL-10 rocket motor, development and testing of the F-135 engines

for two versions of advanced strike fighters (F-22 and F-35), and the development, production, and

certification support for various commercial engines, including the PW6000 turbo-fan for Airbus and
