EXPERIENCE:

September 1993 SOUTHTOWN HEATING & COOLING, Dayton OH

to

March 2008 Position: OUTSIDE COMMERCIAL SALES

Responsibilities: To acquire new and maintain our base of commercial

customers in my service area. This included offering them

proposals and benefits for a maintenance program. Other

duties I performed here were service follow-up calls to

residential customers, service dispatch and

operations/service manager. This included dispatching

technicians to calls for all service areas, finding parts

and quoting repairs, supervising up to 12 technicians and

the dispatcher. I also dealt with customers on the

telephone, discussing their questions/concerns with them.

I also did initial interviews with new potential

technicians and terminated them when this was needed after

discussing problems. Other duties included being the

contact person with our security company and drug free

workplace provider. I also worked home shows annually at

various sites.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

. Researched and recommended the service software program we

ended up acquiring. This included being the contact

person for scheduling training and implementing the

program for work.

. Recommended switching from radio's to cell telephones for

technicians. This allowed us to reach them at any time

during the day and when they were on call. It also

allowed them to contact suppliers about parts.

. Met sales goals set by my VP when working in sales.

September 1993 Position: GROUP SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Responsibilities: To assist group leaders and tour

companies make reservations for an outing to our venue.

This included dates, seating and payment arrangement. I

would then meet them on their arrival and check with them

during the meal and after their visit. I would call

different groups to talk with them about bringing a group

for a visit. Other miscellaneous duties were working the

box office for individual sales, help unload trucks and run

food from the kitchen to the food line.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

. I had a couple of groups that 'blocked the house' (took

over entirely a 600 seat facility) for an evening. This

involved making many special arrangements to meet the

clients' needs and satisfying them.

August 1990 Position: Black & White Lab QC Technician

Responsibilities: One of my duties was cleaning the color

film processor and processing the color film. I also

processed all the B&W film and printing. This included any

copy work that was needed also. I mixed the chemistry and

monitored how many prints had been processed so I would

know when to re-supply. Other duties included unloading

trucks and assisting with location shoots.

September 1966 Kettering Medical Center, Dayton OH

November 1987 Position: Medical Photographer

Responsibilities: In this position I photographed patients

as requested by the medical staff from various departments.

I also processed all the color slide film from medical

staff for educational purposes. This included making title

slides for lectures. For ease of use, I copied filmstrips

to slides for teachers and students to use. In the Media

department, I also worked a video camera, ran audio for

video productions, did audio recording and editing for

slide shows and helped run the in-house patient education

television channel. Additional duties over time were

running sound and any film/slide shows for meetings and

classes along with delivering audio visual equipment for

people to use in smaller venues.

Other duties I performed here were delivering mail to the

departments and also delivered newspapers to the patients

daily. I also worked in the Emergency department as a male

technician taking patient information, vitals and assisting

with patient treatment and transportation.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

. I researched automatic film processor and slide mounter,

selected one and got approval for the purchase and

installation of them. This helped considerably in

improving the QC of the slide processing and time savings.

. I found out doing research that I was producing more slide

frames by myself that any other hospital was producing

with larger staffs.
