Assist children with physical and developmental challenges. Support child
with getting through their daily routine, which includes group
participation, arts and crafts and day-to-day tasks.
10/10- 12/10 One-on-One Care Specialist Mastery Charter
School
Assisted 4th Grade autistic child with daily classroom routine. Kept him
focused and on track with academics as well as encourage his involvement
with the class' activities. Also supported other children diagnosed with
behavioral setbacks to maintain focus to complete daily tasks.
7/09- 08/10 Personal Care Assistant Easter Seals/ DCIU
Provided one to one classroom assistance with special needs/ autistic
child. Assisted teacher with conducting activities that helped develop life
skills such as speech therapy, music therapy, independent work, and
occupational therapy.
8/08- 4/09 Preschool Teacher The Goddard School
Responsible for writing lesson plan based on curriculum, including Language
Arts, Gross and Fine Motor skills, music, and Cognitive Development.
Maintain daily classroom routine with co-teachers.
