Family of 5 independent agencies whose mission is to provide state of the art special education, therapeutic foster care, 24 hour
residential treatment, and mental health services to youth requiring intensive treatment.
CONTRIBUTIONS SNAPSHOT: Transformed $17 million operation serving 1 state (California) into $70 million agency serving up
to 7 states including California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, South Carolina, and Texas, expanding education and social services
to clients to deliver effective programming for up to 1300 youth clients per day.

Recruited to direct operations of 1 company and grew organization to include 5 separate organizations under AES, including Trinity
Youth Services, Acts for Children, Triad Family Services, and Children’s Foundation of America, as well as provide oversight of
a large AES controlled HUD senior living community. Cultivated personal relationships with numerous key public officials to
advocate for education and intensive social services for youth, grow funding base, and facilitate expansion across states. Supervised 4
direct reports managing 1300 employees across 28 locations in up to 7 states.
Overhauled unsophisticated Board, recruiting and training talented, influential leaders to rebuild Boards of Directors for all companies
and engaging leadership teams in agency mission. Streamlined internal processes and centralized administrative, training, and
purchasing functions to reduce costs, realize savings through economies of scale purchasing, improve service, and standardize delivery
of programs.
Selected Results & Contributions:
Developed partnerships with corporate entities to compensate for declining governmental reimbursements, securing
private funding and advocate for legislative policies to facilitate growth.
Grew non profit organization more than 300% to become California’s largest non public school system while simultaneously
expanding infrastructure and enlarging professional staff 175% to enable growth.
Produced $700,000 in first year contributions following founding and establishment and launch of new charitable foundation,
“Children’s Foundation of America.”
Spearheaded annual charitable events, including a golf tournament that netted $5,000 in 2006 but grew to net $230,000 by
