treasury management duties which included 12 month rolling cash flow

forecast, daily availability on line of credit, bank and AR insurance

reporting.

cups, plates and bowls. Responsible for all month-end closing and

reporting requirements, inventory control, budgeting, cost accounting, what-

if cost analysis on finished goods. Developed estimated costs for all

new/future products. Provided plant management staff with financial

analysis which reflected a deficiency and provided a solution(s).

Accomplishments:

. Reduced scrap $'s from $2.3 million to $1.2 million.

. Instrumental in implementing cost reduction initiative Performance

Improvement Program (PIP) that added $200k to the plant's bottom line.

. Instrumental in improving labor efficiency and overhead costs which

resulted in a 2.45 % reduction in cost per unit.

ACCOUNTING MANAGER. Small appliance manufacturer. Managed and accounted

for $16 million of sourced purchased inventory and prepared PPV analysis on

these purchases. Monitored capital project expenditures totally more than

$4 million dollars. Responsible for total company-wide fixed assets having

a NBV of $26 million.

. Saved the company from a potential $250K fine from U.S. Customs by

completing and submitting U.S. Customs cost submission for

Maquiladoras.

. Reviewed and updated freight and duty accrual to reflect true

potential liability.

manufacturer with yearly sales of $26 million in a profit center

environment. Responsible for all cost and financial analysis. Supervised

a staff of five. From 1989 to 1994 previous positions held with Medite of

New Mexico included: Invoicing clerk and Accounting Assistant.

Accomplishments:

. Inherited and directed completion of system conversion from HP 3000 to

IBM AS 400.

. Developed new reports (queries) to aid upper management in making

decisions regarding production (volume/mix), manning and overhead

costs.
