Working with agent office and vendor base in China, HKG, Taiwan,

Thailand, India, etc. Manage a $60M spend on paper, arts,

crafts, impulse and seasonal items. Vendor compliance and

contract, purchase order and vendor development management.

2009 to 2010 GLOBAL Paper, Print, Packaging Consultant, Kids arts &

Crafts

ArtSkills., Allentown, PA, a $25M arts & crafts company.

Sourcing poster board,, sketch, drawing, trace pad and

construction papers.

Morning Sun., Hong Kong, China, a $40M print / packaging consulting

greeting cards, food packaging, coloring books and activity

sets.

2007 to 2009 Elmer's Products Inc., Columbus, Ohio

A $400M adhesives, office products, arts & crafts company.

GLOBAL SOURCING MANAGER, Print Packaging, Kids arts & Crafts

Responsible for location, selection, setup, negotiation and

management of paper, publishing and print suppliers in China.

Successfully moved kids art & craft books from the USA to two

China printing facilities. Reported to VP Supply chain.

. Managed global sourcing of kids arts and crafts sets, marker,

paints, ink products.

. Identified and managed kit and assembly factories, paper,

printing and packaging suppliers including notebooks,

portfolios, children's board books, coloring books, pens,

markers and other arts and crafts items sketch, drawing, and

tracing paper.

. Added printing factories in Vietnam, China and India.

. Managed vendor compliance, product development, compliance

and QC. Annual spend of $30M.

2005 to 2007 CADMUS, Charlotte, North Carolina and Hong Kong, China

A $100M US based packaging and printing company for apparel, IT and

consumer packaged goods.

SOURCING DIRECTOR, Asia Operations

Responsible for setup of Hong Kong representative office.

Located, negotiated and managed printing within Asia and SE Asia

printers for Cadmus US based customers and their global OEM

supply chain. Reported to VP Sales.

. Led strategic global sourcing project for production print

and packaging; identified, audited and managed new sources of

printing and packaging suppliers in Asia and Southeast Asia.

Packaging included SBS, CCNB, corrugated, books, foil board

and plastics packaging.

. Added 12 printing factories throughout Asia including Korea,

Thailand, India, China, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam and

Turkey for US dept. store Target and customers Sara Lee,

Verbatim, Titleist.

. Verified capabilities, managed contract agreements and

relationships, product development and quality control.

. Setup Hong Kong office, help setup India office and Thailand

branch office.

. Hired 6 office staff in Hong Kong & India - sales, account

executives and customer service.

. Moved annual packaging purchases of $25M into China and India

for Target Home's division.

. Achieved a $2.5M package spend for Sara Lee Hanes and POLO

Ralph Lauren to India.

. Identified, audited and managed new sources of logistics

carriers.

. Fender for Hardrock Caf soft lines, sourcing, product

development and manufacturing woven and knit loungewear and

underwear in Hong Kong and China.

. Blake Bags - sourcing, product development with manufacturers

in Hong Kong /China for startup women's computer bags and

accessories.

1993 to 2003 MjC, San Francisco, California

A licensed loungewear sleepwear wholesaler and importer for mass

market retailers, Wal-Mart, Target, JCPenneys. Reported to CEO.

FACTORY COMPLIANCE AND QC MANAGER 2002 - 2003

. Implemented and directed factory QC and compliance programs

for Wal-Mart, Target and Penneys. Set up manufacturing

standards based on Wal-Mart, Target and JCPenneys guidelines.

. Worked extensively with China, Hong Kong, Thailand and Mexico

suppliers to develop quality control procedures and tested

over 1000 skus annually w/CTL (consumer testing labs) and MTL

(merchandise testing labs).

. Partnered with third party inspection firms to establish

quality standards for shipment inspection criteria.

. Oversaw and successfully executed Merchandise Testing

Laboratory testing guidelines for all new products and

fabrications for mass market accounts and mandated testing

guidelines company wide.

. Classified new products with U.S. Customs in New York and San

Francisco.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER 1999 - 2002

. Managed annual spend of over $12M dollars and development of

over 600 skus per year.

. Developed relationships with key suppliers in Hong Kong,

China, Thailand. Negotiated purchase prices, terms and

conditions and other contractual obligations.

. Researched trend, packaging and fabrication for men's and

boy's underwear and sleepwear.

. Developed & sourced women's sleepwear.

. Implemented quality standard and human right guidelines for

offshore agents/vendors.
