Church/Community Involvement
January 1994-present, Ministry Leader, Project Love, North Side Baptist
Church, Greenwood. Started ministry that began meeting in January 1994 at
the Emerald Center in uptown Greenwood and has now moved to the campus of
North Side Baptist Church. Hundreds of at-risk children reached with the
Gospel, many have given their lives to Christ and many of those have been
baptized.
May 2002-present, Counselor, Coordinator, Shake N Shine camp, South
Mountain Baptist Camp/Erskine College, North Side Baptist Church,
Greenwood. Started serving as counselor to at-risk children and today help
coordinate the camp each summer. Many children have been reached with the
Gospel and have given their lives to Christ. Made arrangements for the camp
to take place at Erskine after being held at another location for several
years.
September 2005-present, Project Freedom prison ministry, North Side Baptist
Church, Greenwood. Travel to McCormick State Correctional Institution to
engage with inmates in discipleship program.
July 2010-present, United Center for Community Care Board of Directors,
Greenwood. Serve on board that oversees numerous outreach ministries,
including Greenwood Soup Kitchen and Community Food Bank.
