ERSKINE COLLEGE, DUE WEST, S.C.

2007-Present, Director of Marketing and Public Relations.

. Guide and direct vision and production of publications for admissions,

alumni and other departments.

. Guide, direct, and write news releases.

. Guide and direct production of weekly e-newsletter for the institution.

. Guide and direct frequent updates of the Web site to draw more

prospective students to the site and subsequently more visits and

applications, as well as provide updated information of interest to

different Erskine constituencies, including current students and alumni.

. Handled photography assignments and other responsibilities related to

disseminating information about Erskine to area media outlets.

. Participated in editing publications produced by the marketing arm of the

college.

THE INDEX-JOURNAL, GREENWOOD, S.C.

1999-2003, Regional Editor.

. Responsible for local news content in daily newspaper with circulation of

17,000 for four-county area.

. Developed daily story budget of assignments.

. Managed team of four full-time reporters in assigning hard news, feature

story and photo coverage.

. Assisted and directed reporters in story development, edited all local

stories before publication in newspaper.

. Participated in layout of paper and wrote stories when time allowed.

. Worked with staff writer to provide coverage of the City of Clinton and

Laurens County area.

Church/Community Involvement

January 1994-present, Ministry Leader, Project Love, North Side Baptist

Church, Greenwood. Started ministry that began meeting in January 1994 at

the Emerald Center in uptown Greenwood and has now moved to the campus of

North Side Baptist Church. Hundreds of at-risk children reached with the

Gospel, many have given their lives to Christ and many of those have been

baptized.

May 2002-present, Counselor, Coordinator, Shake N Shine camp, South

Mountain Baptist Camp/Erskine College, North Side Baptist Church,

Greenwood. Started serving as counselor to at-risk children and today help

coordinate the camp each summer. Many children have been reached with the

Gospel and have given their lives to Christ. Made arrangements for the camp

to take place at Erskine after being held at another location for several

years.

September 2005-present, Project Freedom prison ministry, North Side Baptist

Church, Greenwood. Travel to McCormick State Correctional Institution to

engage with inmates in discipleship program.

July 2010-present, United Center for Community Care Board of Directors,

Greenwood. Serve on board that oversees numerous outreach ministries,

including Greenwood Soup Kitchen and Community Food Bank.
