WORK EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Grand Prairie, Texas
Sr. Staff System Engineer 04/2005 to 06/2010
• Developed C++ software to simulate Launcher and Missile Models used in Air
Defense System. Applied multi-threading, semaphores, shared memory, message
queue, and CORBA technologies for distributed processing and inter-process
communication.
• Modified Launcher Model to be used for testing Tactical Operation Center. The
customers saved time and cost and were very pleased with the model that resulted
in an instant recognition award. Documented test and setup procedures.
• Provided guidance and support to peers related to C++ programming and CORBA
applications.
• Wrote Perl scripts to checkout codes from a repository and to build executables.
Sr. Staff Electrical Engineer 07/2004 to 04/2005
• Tested Window based mission rehearsal and preview software.
• Prepared technical proposal for a Low angle delivery modification to MST (AGM-130
trainer) including Technical approach, schedule, man-hour estimate and rationale.
• Participated in selection of components for a PC based mission rehearsal system
and database system.
• Provided vendor liaison to acquire parts for TOPSCENE database server.
• Participated in integration and installation of PC based database system.
Sr. Staff Electrical Engineer 03/2002 to 07/2004
• Managed MST (AGM-130 and EGBU trainer) upgrade project.
• Modified DIMODS (6DOF) simulation program, GUI, weapon symbology, and
weapon control software to fix discrepancies.
• Customers were extremely pleased with the product.
• Supported on-site installation and user training at Mountain Home AFB. Harish Patel

Sr. Research Engineer 07/1999 to 02/2002
• Designed a visual system for Little Bird flight simulation. Provided system integration
and installation support.
• System and hardware design for ROKAF AGM-142 missile trainer. Participated in
system integration, installation and training at Chung-Ju, South Korea.
• Provided concept to implement special visual effect using software instead of
hardware implementation. The idea was submitted for patent filing.
Sr. Research Engineer 11/1996 to 06/1999
• Developed and maintained C programs to test a 3 party JPEG board, to convert
rd
databases, to generate color look-up table for colorizing the monochrome images
and to generate IR databases.
• Developed API for a 3rd party Tracker board and integrated the board into AGM-142
trainer.
• Fixed problems with Model 4000 software to load RGB color databases and to
speed-up print-screen feature.
• Designed circuit boards and cables for the AGM-142 trainer. Led assembly,
Integration and checkout efforts for Mission Rehearsal Systems (MRS).
• Provided off-site support to MRS at Bahrain, Pearl Harbor naval base, Mountain
Home AFB and at Jacksonville, SC.
• Generated purchase requests for the entire TOPSCENE program. Acted vendor
liaison to obtain Return Material Authorization and quotes. Interfaced with logistics in
providing parts list, verifying drawings, procedures for the technical manuals.
• Installed three MRS units at the Marine Bases and provided operator and system
administration training.
Sr. Engineering Specialist 08/1991 to 10/1996
• Designed and modified 6 AGM-130 trainers.
• Designed, checked and integrated wavelet transformation based video compression
and decompression board to simulate AGM-130 data link.
• Led the design team to develop image generators for mission rehearsal on the
TOPSCENE program. The team designed ten 9U X 400mm VME boards and three
small interface boards. The challenge was to add many new features including 3-D
perspective view, anti-aliased scene memory, auto gain, bias and timing calibration
of input video, to generate and load sub-resolution images in real time, reduce size
of the overall system within the constraints of limited budget and relatively short
schedule.
• Received a Director's Award for outstanding work on the TOPSCENE program.
• Field upgraded the TOPSCENE unit level systems aboard the carrier USS America
and USS Peleliu.
• Upgraded the theater level system at Fallon NAS, Nevada. Supervised test checkout
and integration effort for twenty-five unit level TOPSCENE systems.

Sr. Engineering Specialist 08/1991 to 10/1996
• Led a design team to develop a visual system Image Generator (IG).
• Designed circuit boards and modified existing circuit boards for the 3-D product
improvement demonstration. Improved Image Generator performance by adding
anti-aliased scene memory and read address generator circuits.
• Participated in the Mission Support System demonstration at Orlando, FL,
Washington, DC and Fallon, NV. Improved Image Generator performance by adding
anti-aliased scene memory and read address generator circuits.
• Evaluated the Photography Based Image Generator System (PBIGS) requirements.
Prepared and presented description of the Cell Processor design changes to the
customer. Prepared specifications of new circuit cards and changes to an existing
circuit card. Provided technical support while checkout of two basic Navy Cell
Processors. Directed the PBIGS design changes and checked out of two Navy Cell
Processors.
• Solved a number of critical technical problems and improved the Visual System
performance. Provided consultation while PBIGS integration to the Helmet Mounted
Laser Projector at NTSC, Orlando, FL.
