EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE

11/06 - present TRAINING SPECIALIST III, L3 COMMUNICATIONS, Stafford, VA

o Instruct and administer training on Tactical Communications Equipment to

the United States Marine Corps on the PRC-117F, PRC-117G, PRC-150, PRC-

152, PRC-148, PYQ-10 (SKL) Defense Advanced GPS Receiver (DAGR) and the

Enhanced Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS).

o Train military personnel in the Incidental Radio Operators' Course (IROC)

perform basic operational procedures in the VHF/UHF and HF radio

procedures. Single Channel Ground Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS),

SATCOM, HAVEQUICK I/II.

o Instruct classes in the Advanced Radio Operators Course (AROC) Train

personnel in the advanced functions of radio equipment consisting of

sending data over VHF and HF Circuits. High Performance Waveform (HPW),

Tactical Chat software applications.

o Provide students with: the knowledge and skills to install, operate and

maintain communications; hands-on time (practical application) to

practice their skills prior to testing; performance tests, and evaluation

of skills; provide students with lesson plans to meet rapid short term

training requirements and refresher training for USMC Tactical Radio

equipment; conduct training in accordance with the Marine Corps System

Approach to Training (SAT) Manual. Conduct after action reviews with

personnel to ensure training was conducted to standard.

o Develop and prepare course curriculum, Program of Instruction lesson

plans, and student guides.

o Provide audio visual aids in support of lesson material. Follow USMC

safety regulations to ensure training is conducted to standard.

Accomplishments

Created/designed new course material, condensing from 2 weeks to 2-days

courses, presented to management and implemented since 11/06, resulting in

improved retention rates and increased learning.

06/05 - 11/06 INSTRUCTOR, BAE SYSTEMS, Fort Hood, Texas

o Facilitated primary instruction/training on tactical operations functions

of Bradley Combat Systems to over 90 military personnel. Evaluated,

supervised/trained personnel on Bradley Gunnery Training.

o Maintained strong focus on implementation and incorporation of U.S. Army

safety regulations in conjunction with initial training of Force XXI

Brigade and subordinate-level communications.
