I am a reliable and enthusiastic self starter.I have 16 years experience in this field and I love working

with

children I am a team player and always make certain the children in my care are always safe.I worked

as a volunteer for several years on the pediatric cancer floor of Beth Irsrael Hospital in Newark, NJ. I also

have

my Nursing Assistant Certification and I have received 2 awards for my volunteer work with Mssa. I love to

attend

workshops and I am planning to work on my Bachelors degree in ECE.

Work Experience

1995-2001 First Discoveries Preschool

Teachers Assistant- I was responsible for circle time, helping with atrs and crafts, potty training,

recess and lunch and play ground aide.

2003-2009 Miles of Smiles Preschool

Teacher- lesson plans, diaper changing, feeding and circle time arts and crafts meeting with parents,

implementing developmentally appropriate games,l pooty training, parent conferences, delegating

to the teacher assisitants.

1995-2000 Weekend Nanny

I worked for Vicky Brand I watched her 4 children ages 5-12 on the weekends. My responsibilties

included engaging the children in games and activities, feeding them dinner and bathing them and

putting them to bed.

Training

I have attended more then a dozen workshops of which I possess certificates and I have done extensive

babysitting and childcare not in a work setting.

Education

I possess an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education

Personal Details

I am a mother of a 19 year old boy names Alex, he is graduating from high school

this year and going off to NJIT. Alex is a cancer survivor and he is my pride and joy.
