Environmental Test Engineering Technician

Developed testing facilities and procedures for Vibration, Shock, Temperature, Humidity, Immersion,

Rain, and Combined Environments for all Prototype and Production testing from Small Integrated

Circuits to Large Enclosures including Package Testing both restrained and loose cargo.

Calibration

Automated both Multimeter and Oscilloscope calibration saving approximately $50K/yr.using the Fluke

5500A system with MET/CAL, MET/TRACK software. Automated Network Analyzer

calibration saving turn around time from 2 weeks to 2 hours. Calibrated Spectrum Analyzers, Signal

Generators, and other R.F. equipment from DC TO 50 GHz, and Mechanical Calibration of calipers,

micrometers, crimpers, and gauges, as well as Temperature and Accelerometers.

Quality Assurance

Performed ISO 9000, 10012, Audits, Military Standard 454, 2000, IPC 610, and J-Standard 001

solder and workmanship inspections. Worked with Department of Defense and Customers in the

Qualification and Acceptance of product, including writing the Audit and Inspection procedures and

corrective actions. Also performed Safety Audits on the Safety Board.
