Groomers, Wellton, AZ. In charge of business and financial management. Also supplies,
equipment, and personal.
10/2005 to 02/2011 Small construction and contractor, Wellton and Yuma, AZ Hrs per
week: 10 to 50hrs, Owner. Built decks and Arizona rooms, stairs, wheelchair ramps,
storage sheds, and other construction and remodeling work.
03/08/2004 to 10/11/2005. Hrs per week: 45 to 90hrs, Armed Security Officer, - -GS4.
U.S. Army, Yuma Proving Grounds. Yuma, AZ 85365, 928-***-****. I provided access
security for gates and classified sites, and I also did roving patrols which gave me
knowledge of most of the range areas at YPG. I worked with YPG police officers and did
much the same work as they did. This included traffic stops, radar, and suspect
apprehension.

The skills I have used and developed during the ownership of these businesses include
but are not limited to the following: Writing, editing manuscripts, operation of various
word processors and publishing software, people skills (sales, purchasing, negotiating),
construction skills (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, cement). Also, in common with all of
these businesses were management, organization, bookkeeping, work scheduling, and
other skills necessary to start and maintain a business.
09/20/1985 to 06/23/1992. Hrs per week: 40, Weather Station Commander/Weather
Officer, - -O3( Captain). U.S. Air Force.
12/90- 6/91 Commander of the largest U.S. weather station in the Middle East during
Desert Storm. In less then 2 weeks I turned a one man weather site supporting the airlift
before Desert Storm into a 20 man full service weather station which supported over
1/6th of the combat missions flown by the Air Force.
8/90-12/90 Acting Commander of Weather station in Zaragoza AB, Spain. After assuming
command, Zaragoza became the main staging base in Europe for the massive airlift of
Desert Shield. In less then 2 days I turned a 16 man limited duty weather station into a 24
hr a day full service weather station supporting the airlift. This represented a 250%
increase in productivity. Also as the senior MAC officer at Zaragoza, I was in charge of
finding work space, living areas, and equipment for over 300 incoming MAC personnel
brought in to support the airlift.
1/87-8/90 Weather Officer. Weather forecasting and analysis, briefings. In charge of
weather support for over 4500 missions per year, in charge of special support including
presidential trips, NASA shuttle support for the abort landing base at Zaragoza AB, and
mission control forecasts for classified or special operations. Wrote support and war
plans, training program and technical procedure manuals for use by the U.S. Air Force
and NASA.
09/10/1976 to 09/10/1979. Hrs per week: 40, Radio repairman/ Comsec Vault Custodian,
- -E4. U.S. Army.
01/10/1977 - 02/10/1978 Korea, In charge of the Radio Repair Shop, NCO In charge of
Post Safety, and NCO in charge of Chemical, Biological, and Nuclear Warfare
equipment. I held all of these positions at the same time.
02/10/1978 - 09/10/1979 Ft. Carson, CO Comsec Vault Custodian in charge of
cryptographic codes and equipment. Issued codes, maintaining double log book
accounting. Installed, maintained, and arranged for the repair of all cryptographic
equipment. Performed destructions of outdated cryptographic codes and key lists.
My vault received the only error free IG inspection out of over 120 Comsec vaults in the
U.S. during 1979.
11/15/1974 to 06/15/1976. Hrs per week: 40, Mechanical Draftsman, - -. R. A. Hanson
Company. Spokane, WA,, .
Drafted plans for canal digging and paving equipment. Did design work on the U. S. MX
missile system, conveyor belt systems, and automatic packaging equipment.
