2007-2010 Maintenance Mechanic III Greensboro Housing Authority Greensboro NC

Initiated preventative maintenance programs to improve HVAC systems

throughout the housing community. Upgraded the residential electrical systems. Installed new

security lighting and fire

alarm systems for the elderly residents.

2000-2005 Lead Electrician Maintenance Mechanic III West Point Stevens Burlington

Planned and installed electrical systems including transformers, panels, controls

and operational instructions.. Preventative maintenance of various textile equipments and presses

as well as diagnosis of machinery break downs and necessary repairs; Regular predictive

maintenance and safety inspections of all electrical equipments, including switch gears and

Installed and maintained all energy efficient lighting throughout the facility.

Maintained all perimeter lighting, including 480 V lighting in the parking lots. Installed and

maintained 1.6 miles

of conveyor systems, electric motor and controls, and mechanical installations at the distribution

center.

Initiated Lock Out / Tag Out program to insure compliance with all applicable OSHA

safety requirements.

Electrical trouble shooting of various presses in aluminum extrusion process.

Numerous fabrications and required welding to meet production goals. Performed regularly

scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
