Atlanta Georgia based Hotel Renovation Company founded in 1992.
As a partner I had a vested interest in the growth, and expansion of this organization.
Gross revenues increased annually from 1 to 9 million dollars +
Projects for independent franchises included Holiday Inn, Marriott, Ramada, Sheraton, and Hyatt
Most projects involved complete interior cosmetic renovation, including wall treatments, vanity tops, lighting,
carpet and FF&E.
Common trades were electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing.
Exterior improvements often included paint, EIFS, Parapets, Standing seam metal roofs, Porte cocheres, and
parking refurbishment.
With a core crew on each project, I was physically involved in all aspects of the renovation, including, but not
limited to, replacement of plumbing, and fixtures, demo and preparation of walls, ceilings, and flooring
changes.
HVAC, maintenance, both P-Tacs and commercial units.
Bath tile, Replace commodes, Tub surrounds, and fixtures
Wire for HVAC remotes and electrical outlet relocation, and termination of existing as appropriate.
Paint and wall covering preparation.
Template production and installation of FF&E
My position as Project manager required my daily supervision from start to finish of the project.
Additional responsibilities included, but were not limited to:
* Subcontractor bid solicitation, and contracting
* Developed and maintained project schedules
* Identify and submit proper paperwork for all new hires
* Process and submit subcontractor and client draws.
* Continual budget and schedule review, and adjustment as needed.
* Order, supervise unloading of, and insure security of all materials.
* Communicate directly to owners, and managers the status of the project
* Coordinate with owners and managers the availability of hotel rooms and public space for renovation, and
the scheduled return of that inventory.
*Served as the corporate Safety Manager

*Administered the annual forklift safety training a certification
*Issued safety bulletins, and other information to all project
managers
As extensive travel was required, I desired to find an opportunity
more local to my home.
I sold my shares to my partners, and left the company of my own
accord in 2008.
