Account Manager

Newlink Communications hired me to serve as the Senior

Account Executive for the Cancun Convention and Visitors

Bureaus North American market. In this capacity I was

responsible for handling all the client relations, media

relations and celebrity initiatives for the U.S. and

Canada. In addition, I handled all the media relations for

3 FAM trips and more than 10 individual site reviews within

a six month period of time. Assisted in coordinating a

promotional visit by Pauline Frommer to the destination of

Cancun and included a North American satellite media tour

garnering more than $100,000.00 in media exposure. In

addition, I have secured placement on the NBC Today Show

for the destination.

2006-2009 PPR Communications

Vice President

Responsibilities entailed all aspects associated with seven

national travel accounts, and the management of five

account executives and two account coordinators. Created

and presented new business proposals and presentations.

Coordinated, managed and delivered results for more than

five national press trips.

2005-2006 Everett Clay Associates

Account Executive

As an account executive for three accounts, I managed their

day to day PR client activity. Duties included but were

not limited to writing press releases, pitching the media

for story placements, conducting media interviews and

compiling client's monthly reports.

2004-2005 O&M Custom Advertising Inc

Owner/Sales

Initiated and created a specialty advertising company. O&M

provided businesses with all their promotional product

needs. Through my efforts, I was able to retain such

clients as Brickell Motors and the Orange Bowl Committee.

2003-2004 Hong Kong Trade Development Council

Media/Marketing

Duties entailed promoting Hong Kong to SME's in the

Florida, South America and Latin America regions.

Responsibilities included all press and media relations.

I successfully coordinated the Miami-Dade and Broward

County Missions to Hong Kong. In addition, I was

responsible for overseeing all aspects of our data bank

updating procedures and trade inquiries.
