Significantly reduced the number of “bad win” projects by applying and analyzing a set
of metrics on previous projects thereby identifying unfavorable jobs before bid

Formula SAE is an international competition that challenges students to design and build a
single seat racecar from the ground up. The project involves fund raising, budgeting, design,
procurement, manufacturing, and testing, culminating in a race held annually in Michigan.

purpose built racecar for an international collegiate engineering competition
