Vice President, Global Human Resources

Enlisted to lead and improve human resources department for electronics

distributor with 700 employees and annual revenue of $700M. Report to

CEO/President and oversee staff of 7. Deliver presentations at quarterly

staff meetings and work closely with CEO/President regarding Human

Resources issues, challenges, and improvements. Contribute to development

of HR goals and objectives and recommend new approaches, policies, and

procedures.

Manage recruitment efforts, selection process, talent management, and

succession planning. Provide counseling to leaders during workforce

reductions, perform disparate impact analyses, and collaborate with senior

management to ensure proper communication and minimize possible employee

morale issues.

. Devised company's first recruitment process that improved hiring time by

10 days and implemented promotion process to ensure proper talent

management.

. Developed new compensation program that included employee input regarding

job duties, outside market analysis of all job titles, and classification
