Provide full category management support for Central Wholesale Team Accounts. Also work with other teams in the company as
needed (ie., Winn Dixie, SuperValu, Publix, etc.) Work directly with field sales, management and accounts. Primarily responsible
for team, customer, market and consumer analytics and insights based on consumer metrics and utilizing syndicated data bases.
Highlights of Accomplishments:
• Created and presented a sales presentation to close core item gaps for a Florida customer. Out of the 10 missing core
items, 8 were authorized. As a result, the customer has an added over $60K for a six month period and over 25K lbs of
product.
• Created a sales presentation for a Texas account to sell in an item that they had turned down numerous times. The item
was authorized due to the analysis of the category and market and the customer gained over a $100K in the first 10
months of authorization.
• Challenged in 2008 by upper management to implement Assortment/Space Planning projects to the wholesale channel
accounts, I worked with team members to sell in the projects and have since completed numerous successful
Assortment/Space Planning projects. Adept at implementing the entire process – from initial sell in, scanning in the
customer’s set, assortment and space analysis to the creation of a new Planogram.
• Implemented a successful Assortment/Space Planning project for a customer in South Carolina. The project brought a
7% increase in sales for test stores Refrigerated Department and all of the corporate stores were reset based on the
analysis.
• Upon request by a customer, created an Executive Summary for the Hot Dog category that is now used to train the
customer’s Category Managers.
