. Manage production activities on the second shift. Oversee operations
while maintaining production, cost, quality, and waste goals in a safe
work environment. Supervise the 5S program and drive improvement
projects on my shift while maintaining overall plant sanitation;
achieving a score of 90%, 92%, 96%, and 94% on the last 5S audits.
Spearheaded 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives resulting in
Controllable Costs award for 2009 and dual awards for 2010; 5S Plant
of the year and overall plant of the year (1st time in Safeway history
1 plant receives the 2 highest awards the same year)

. Managed 8 personnel in 3 separate facilities. Disseminate
information, inspect procured products, interpret guidelines and
policies and promote quality production and customer service. Oversaw
the Hazardous food recall program at Fort Lewis with oversight of 50
facilities.
. Inspected all subsistence (Fresh Fruit and Vegetables) purchased by
the U.S. Government in the Western Region. Verified food was obtained
from an approved source and ensured food security was maintained and
produce delivered met USDA Standards for Grade. Validated subsistence
had adequate shelf life remaining at arrival, subsistence was handled
properly, and warehousing methods were implemented.
. Ensured all Quality Audits, Sanitary Inspections, and Product

inspecting food production facilities in Egypt and Israel. Managed the
Hazardous food recall program for the MFO with oversight of over 35
