Summary:

I am a talented self motivated professional. With a high aptitude in

employer is Star Printing co. I presently serve as Sr. Production manager,

. Developed employee safety programs in house.

. OSHA - Lock out Tag Out Program. (Cost savings to company was

. Was able to implement an in house solvent recovery program which had

an 80% recovery rate of all press wash. This resulted in an annual

better customer relations and quicker response time.

. Digital support, pagination cross check, raw material congruity,

pressroom and bindery layout and scheduling.

. Digital mail fulfillment through BCC Case/Pave software, which

resulted in significant cost savings in overall manufacturing costs

and postal discounts for customer.

. Delegation of material procurement in a cost saving manner for each

incoming job.

. Work very closely with production coordinators from publishing houses

to insure a timely and cost effective completion.

. Create and apply impositions and layouts that achieve maximum

productivity and quality for our customers, resulting in manufacturing

cost reduction used in estimating.

. Effectively and cost efficiently troubleshoot each job for potential

problems when it is received so that customer is not faced with delays

or additional charges.

. Proactively monitor and maintain printing facility in a cost effective

manner.

. Negotiate freight contracts. (was able to procure up to 58% discounts

with Federal Express and UPS)

. Accountable for all department's expenditures and budget control.

. Established and led daily department head production meetings (6:00 AM

every morning.) This enabled me to keep all departments up to date

with current customer demands.

. Maintained and monitored all facets of production for each job

throughout the manufacturing process.

. Oversaw all fulfillment aspects through shipping and digital mailing
