PURCHASING MANAGER. MGM Mirage CityCenter, 9/09 - 3/10. (Contract job). Retained to lead
(and then fix) an understaffed, behind schedule team by resolving problems, re-assigning
responsibilities, retain LEED criteria by skillful sourcing and tenacious expediting accomplishing
an impossible deadline for the 5-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel portion of the largest private project
in USA history at $8.5 billion.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER. Fontainebleau Resorts, 9/08-5/09. Achieved savings of
$800K to $1.1 million per F&B venue by intensive value engineering of interior infrastructure/fit-
out; design and construction management of extensive team of A/E consultants, A-list interior
designers, fabricators and construction contractors for a $3.1 billion mixed-use gaming/resort new
construction LEED project.
DESIGN MANAGER. Station Casinos, 6/07-4/08. Total responsibility for managing design,
budget, schedule, entitlements, scope creep & disruption mitigation from pre-construction to
turnover of multiple hotel/gaming remodels involving Operations executives. Also provided
technical writing of Corporate policies, procedures and venue design standards facilitating Cap-Ex
project team efficiencies.
DIRECTOR DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS. Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., 2000-
2007. Achieved FF&E savings of $10MM annually and reduced liability risk by creating and
managing the comprehensive strategic initiative D&C Standards & Guidelines program for the
world’s largest gaming firm requiring successful change management leadership of project teams.
Traveled extensively to Asia/Europe/USA evaluating vendors and solving field problems at many
job sites among Harrah's portfolio of properties.
PROJECT MANAGER. Recreation Development Corp. (GC), 1997-2000. Managed
construction, budget, documentation and purchasing for design-build portions of Mandalay Bay
and Venetian mixed-use gaming-retail resorts for a specialty contractor of themed environments.
Skillfully resolved complex construction dispute by detailed record-keeping recapturing $2-million
of unwarranted back charges.
