I am interested in obtaining employment in the Manufacturing Industry. I
was enrolled in Paul Simon Chicago Job Corps, a Department of Labor funded
program and earned multiple certifications within the industry of
Manufacturing and was given the opportunity to attend an off-center Pre-
Apprentice Welding Program through the Jane Addams Resource Center (JARC).
These experiences have greatly improved my skills and trained me to become
a better worker. My positive attributes include being personable, timely,
responsible and focused. I work well with others and am open to giving and
receiving positive criticism.
Currently I have earned several certifications in the areas of:
. Certification: National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Metal
forming
* Certification: Forklift Operator and Safety Training
* OSHA Safety Training
I functions well in a team environment, while being self-motivated to work
effectively without supervision. I have excellent organizational,
interpersonal and communication skills with the flexibility to adjust to
changing work priorities. I enjoy being challenged in the work environment.
If you are willing to meet me for an in-person interview to discuss my
skills and training.
Please call me at 618-***-**** your earliest convenience. Thank you again
for your consideration.
Thanking you in advance.
