Summary of Experience 1. As Accounts Receivable and Cash

Accountant at Hanley Wood, a leading publishing

and e-media company, I am responsible for

receiving over 1200 automated and manual client

payments each month from banks including

lockboxes totaling $5,000,000 a month, entering

the information in the A/R system, assisting

with the A/R subsidiary and general ledger

reconciliation, preparing month-end and year-

end management reports, and providing financial

reporting and accounting support.

2. Balancing cash daily, online payments, and

miscellaneous receipts. I also reconcile all

receipts activity by divisions to daily and

monthly bank records.

3. Research and resolve discrepancies using a variety of

software and online banking applications.

4. Charge returned checks to customer accounts; maintain

customer records.

5. Responsibility of dealing with corporate clients on a

daily basis, reconciling account balances and

billing, credit note related queries.
