Engaged in general litigation practice with a primary focus on domestic relations. Additional practice
areas included appeals, personal injury, real property, wills, general business, and criminal law. Responsible for
office’s appellate practice in all subject areas. Experienced in all aspects of litigation, from depositions and
discovery requests, to multiple day trials.
Deputy District Attorney, Linn County District Attorney’s Office, Albany, OR 1999-2001
Responsible for criminal prosecution of misdemeanor through serious felony crimes with caseload
numbering in excess of 100 cases at any one time. Prepared written response and successfully argued motions
in aggravated murder trial. Established training program and conducted training of local police officers in
