D.M.E. sales were tailored to meet the individual needs of the referring Doctor. Three main product lines were stressed: Ostomy Supplies, Wound & Diabetic Care, and Service Pumps (C-paps, I.V. ect.).
Primary Function was to create a pool of referral sources - Doctors offices mostly. Within 4 months, 15 doctors were referring on a daily basis. In 6 months, a referral base of over 20 Doctors was maintained and exclusively referring to Home Care Services.
Internal Medicine Doctors supplied referrals to the D.M.E. and Home Health & Home Infusion companies. Medical Oncologists provided referrals for the Hospice company, as well as referring to the other three companies.
