Most recently, I was involved with TK Mining with the process of reopening the New Elk Coal Mine. This project

consisted of designing blast plans, blasting of existing portals, rope ramps, crosscuts, etc. This project was very

Please be advised of the extensive experience I have had in the Explosive Industry. I have not only been

involved in surface mining operations; I also have several years' experience in underground mining. I have used

various types of Class A High Explosives, such as; Dynamite. Ammonia Nitrate; Detonating Cord; Water Gels;

Electric Caps;, MS Caps; LP Caps; EZ-Dets; Handi-Dets; Black Wick & Caps. Listed

Job Description: Project consisted of Drilling & Blasting a 600' X 600' pad for oil rig. Cuts consisted of 10' to 58'

off the top of two ridges; we also lowered approximately 1 mile of road. Drilling & blasting of road from 10' to

32'. I managed a seven man crew, while overseeing production of two Furukawa 1200 Drills. Mobilization took

place on July 19, 04 work was completed and de-Mobilized occurred on August 25, 04. We shot approximately

125,000 lbs. of explosives while moving approximately 150,000 yards of rock. The rock produced was 12" or

minus, this product was used to surface the 8 miles of access road. All shot plans and patterns were prepared

daily. PSC was responsible for all safety, security, mags, set up and tear down of all equipment used

Job Description: Drilling & blasting of 14' x 20' trench approximately 500' long. Existing water main 20' from

trench to be shot, A 1300' concrete lined shaft was located in middle of trench, pump station located at west-end

of trench. None of existing structures could be damaged resulting in extensive seismograph work being conducted

throughout job. Shots ranged from 150 to 600 lbs per shot.

Job Description: Underground water diversion tunnel project consisted of drilling and blasting approximately 250

feet into side of mountain on secured site at the USAF Academy.

Job Description: Designed, drilled and blasted 50,000 yards of rock within 8-20 feet of crusher.

swimming pool. Controlled blasting, safety, blast plans. Managed all aspects of drill & blast operations for

project duration, which was approximately 3 months.

Job Description: Highly technical blasting job. All hand crew used. Removal of 400 ton boulder located 8

Ranch Subdivision. D& B from 3,000 to 11,000 lbs within 50 feet of Ken Caryl Road. Seismic used on

bridge. Controlled blasting used at all times, heavy shot security to ensure safety of public.

Job/Interstate 70-Idaho Springs-Contractor/Colorado Highway Department-Dillon Office

Job Description: Widening of bridge within city limits on 1-70. Rock excavation of 1200 yards. Job

site located directly beneath church. Seismograph used due to nearby structures. Controlled blasting to

prevent vibration and fly-rock. Heavy shot security at all times due to location.

Job/Interstate 70-Debuque Canyon-Contractor/Pebble Haulers

Job Description: Road cuts through canyon. Shots ranged from 7,000 to 33,000 yards. Safety

measures were enforced at all times. Worked closely with highway department, state patrol and

railroad officials to maintain adequate highway control.
